The power level modifies with three consecutive clicks on the control button; the battery raises the power in one of the three setting options; green light 3.2V, blue light 3.7V, and red light 4.2V.
To activate a preheat mode, click twice the control button, and the pen automatically produces a low power for fifteen seconds before turning off. During this time, the Brass Knuckles pen battery has 2.0V, and the coil generates low heat to warm up the oil before vaping. That's a convenient feature, especially when the oil is super thick in cold weather. The preheat mode cancels with a single click at any time.
To lock the battery from accidental firing, press the power button five times, and the battery turns off. To turn the battery on, press the power button repeatedly. Once the power is on, the LED light button flashes three short times, confirming that it's ready to be used.
